Micro-neoekis is the purified magnesium chloride originally taken from the ocean. Since it's debut 20 years ago, it has been praised by users.

Besides the granular kind, there is the flaky type called “flake neoekis." Our company has investigated the development of new nigari sources in various parts of the world and our research has resulted in the best nigari now available. We also provide magnesium chloride for industrial and public works uses, another increasing outlet for Yoshikawa nigari.

We refine our nigari (as shown in the figure) to provide the safest and most suitable nigari for tofumaking. We do not use any chemicals or additives which might be injurious to human health.
Our product passes the Standards Inspection for Japanese Food Additives and is also in agreement with U.S. Food Chemical Code Index.
